One of the best aspects of this Airbnb is the location! Dolores Park is a fabulous spot to picnic, people watch, workout, or relax. It’s close to delicious restaurants like Dolores Park Cafe which offers incredible breakfast and lunch options, Tartine, a famous bakery that always has a line wrapped around the block and it is just blocks away from Valencia St. where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to try out and explore.
If you’re curious to explore the rest of the city, this area plants you right in between Golden Gate Park and the Ferry building which overlooks the San Francisco bay. Of course, if you’re needing rest and reprieve after a long day of outings, the private guest cabana has a gorgeous backyard with a private hot tub! Other features about this Airbnb that we love are its updated bathroom and beautiful living space that opens up to the patio. This place not only features a unique living arrangement with its wonderful balance of indoor and outdoor, but it will act as the perfect reset spot for you between all your city outings and explorations!
Sitting in one of the most iconic neighborhoods in California, and perhaps the country is this beautiful and modern apartment. If you’re looking to stay somewhere for a bit longer than a week we highly recommend this Airbnb spot as it is fitted with a fully functional kitchen, and includes both a washer and dryer, great amenities to set you up for a longer stay. In this area are plenty of bars and restaurants to check out, but also incredible vintage stores and thrift shops. Check out Wasteland for incredible designer pieces from past seasons, and Held Over for vintage jackets and jeans. If you’re looking to step into nature, this neighborhood is blocks away from Golden Gate Park which houses both the DeYoung Museum and the Botanical/Rose Gardens. Run through the park and you will end up at the beach! This stay is a no-brainer to us and offers a beautiful functional space in a beautiful historic neighborhood.
If you’re looking for one of those unique weekend getaways this updated and fully fit airstream is our idea of a great time. Every detail is so well thought out and intentional, that you might find yourself truly believing that you could live in a vintage airstream full time! The red kitchen and the shower are two of our favorite details about its bold design. Mill Valley is close a drive to San Francisco and a similarly close drive to Stinson Beach, which both offer adventure-one city and the other nature. You will be close to Mount Tamalpais State Park and equally close to the San Francisco Bay. This little backyard retreat is a great, relaxing, unique stay, perfect for a couples retreat or a few friends looking for a little adventure!
This stunning home offers an amazing spot to settle in for your stay with a larger family or group of friends. It sits in a lovely part of the city, close to the Palace of Fine Arts and the San Francisco Yacht club, both lovely locations for walking, photography, and sightseeing. Take a bike ride along the water, or head down towards the marina to the food truck festival for unique bites from local eateries. Some aspects about the home itself that we can’t help but note is its gorgeous back patio, perfect for hosting small gatherings and cookouts as well as its beautiful rooms which each hold a particular theme or design. A huge added benefit is its free parking on premises, which will save you hundreds of dollars in parking tickets if you are traveling here in a car. If it was possible to move in, we would do it in a heartbeat!
If you are visiting the Bay Area for a retreat, or are looking for a truly luxury stay for a group of up to 10, Villa Paraiso is for you. Located just across the Golden Gate Bridge, in Tiburon, this luxe home is not far from one of the Bay Area's most charming waterfront towns, Sausalito. We love visiting Salty and Tivoli for interior design inspiration. Don't forget to stop in to The Bump Bar for sustainably farmed caviar and champagne because why not? On your way back into the city, make sure you stop at the Marin Headlands for the best views!
